ICCTE Community Update – Summer 2025
The 2026 ICCTE Conference will be held at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA, hosted by Jenn Kritsch, with the theme Radical Hospitality.

Greetings to all of you in our ICCTE community!
Blessings to you all as you take some time to unwind over the summer months! I know that it has been a while since our last conference at beautiful Gordon College, and it is time for some more news to be shared, although without the coffee and conversation that face-to-face meetngs afford.
As ICCTE prepares to greet you all in 2026, we are greatly looking forward to our next conference site with beautiful ocean views, at Point Loma University in San Diego, CA. Our host, Jenn Kritsch, is planning the 2026 conference around the theme Radical Hospitality, and I can assure you that you will experience just that at Point Loma. Be sure to check out our conference information in the fall: https://www.iccte.org/conference
We are currently planning to have this conference information launched in September to align with most conference fund budgets for the coming year. Jenn has some wonderful plans for us all.
Additionally, there is an opportunity for us to meet online for a member webinar delivered by Michelle Hughes on September 23rd. Time with be forthcoming, and you will love the topic! I have to keep something to allure you later after all, so it is not yet in this newsletter, but watch the ICCTE spaces for an announcement.
The time is coming around rather quickly for our next conference, so I need some input from you, our community team.
I am looking for nominations for these events:
Nominations for a new scholar to give the Harro Van Brummelen address, which has the monetary accruement of free conference registration: https://www.iccte.org/harrovanbrummelenmemorialscholarship
Nominations for the Janet Arndt service award for long time service to ICCTE
Nomination/ideas for future ICCTE plenary speakers from members of the ICCTE community
Another thing we need to confirm is whether you are a member or leader of a special interest group from a past ICCTE conference, and if it is still running. These groups were founded around interest, and often have a goal, such as producing a book. But not always. A project is also possible, as are similar research interests.
I am looking forward to you responding to this letter with your ideas and nominations.
May God bless and keep you till we meet again…
Christina Belcher
